Hull KR vs Leeds Rhinos: Kick-off time, TV Channel and Team News

Hull KR opened the 2024 Super League season up with an easy victory over rivals Hull FC last week and on Thursday night they get a chance to make it two from two when they host Leeds Rhinos.

Both teams enter the game with a win in round one, results that they’ll be looking to build on with each side holding playoff ambitions in 2024.

The sides met just over two weeks ago in a pre-season friendly that saw the Rhinos victorious at Headingley but back at Craven Park Hull KR will be out to avenge that.

With the match being the standalone Thursday night game it’s slated for a kick-off time of 20:00 meaning that the Robins do actually have a one-day rest advantage.

KR opened Super League up last Thursday whereas the Rhinos didn’t play until Friday night, however with pre-season just completed you’d expect both teams will be at full fitness regardless.

Neither the press conferences nor the disciplinary news have been revealed yet but both teams are expected to lose players due to both injuries and suspensions.

One man who almost certainly not be playing is former Leeds Rhinos hooker Matt Parcell with the Kiwi sent to the sin bin late on against Hull FC.

Parcell was seen to shove his hand in Ligi Sao’s face with force whilst the Hull FC man was on the ground and he likely could be landing a ban.

New Rhinos signing Paul Momorovski also saw yellow and could be further punished for that.

As for injuries, it seemed that each team got away safely from their round one games and could instead be strengthened with the return of players.

For Hull KR that could see Sam Luckley and Matty Storton return, whilst for Leeds they could be boosted by Tom Holroyd.
