Hull KR vs Leeds Rhinos: Kick-off time and team news

Hull KR missed out on the play-offs in 2022 partly due to the late season resurgence of Rohan Smith’s Leeds Rhinos who went over and beat the Robins at Craven Park towards the end of last season completing a double over them and propelling them on the road to Old Trafford.

Leeds legend Danny McGuire was in charge that day after Tony Smith’s departure but now Willie Peters is leading the Robins and can test his side against last year’s beaten Grand Finalists today.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game:

Kick-off time:

The game kicks off at 15:00 at Craven Park. The game, unlike Leeds’ last outing, will not feature on the OurLeague app.

Team News

After defeat against Featherstone, Peters has named a very strong squad for today’s clash with new signings like Tom Opacic and Sam Luckley set to be involved alongside star players like Jordan Abdull and Ryan Hall not to mention skipper Shaun Kenny-Dowall.

Mikey Lewis is back from injury today as he hopes for a big season in 2023.

Leeds are again without James Bentley whilst Derrell Olpherts’ absence continues after he missed last week’s win over Bradford Bulls through illness.

David Fusitu’a will play for the first time in 2023 and is set to start at centre.

Rohan Smith has promised his strongest possible side today.

Centres Harry Newman and Nene MacDonald are still unavailable.
