Hull FC’s Luke Gale has been sent off for a horrendous challenge on Jonny Lomax in their fixture against St Helens
Hull FC had been punished earlier in their home fixture with Connor Wynne getting a yellow card.
Wynne was involved in a tackle that saw St Helens fullback Jack Welsby dumped on his neck.
After close deliberation, referee Chris Kendall sent Wynne for ten minutes.

But, things went from bad to worse when Gale was given his marching orders in the first-half.

Hull were already 14-0 down by the time Gale showed his studs up on Lomax as he went for a kick.
The St Helens halfback, credit to him, didn’t make a meal of the tackle, but it looked like a painful swipe.
Hull had produced a tremendous tribute to hero Johnny Whiteley MBE, with Lizzie Jones MBE performing a brilliant tribute with Abide With Me as fans flocked to the MKM Stadium in atrocious weather.
