Whilst Hull enjoyed a narrow 16-12 victory over Wakefield Trinity last Sunday, Saints were in sparkling form to inflict a 28-8 defeat on Catalans Dragons in the first game of the new season last Thursday.

Injury news
Josh Griffin has been included by Brett Hodgson despite missing last week’s victory over Wakefield, though there is still no place for Joe Cator or Manu Ma’u whilst Carlos Tuimavave drops out. Jamie Shaul will also be hoping to start at fullback following the absence of Jake Connor. St Helens boss Kristian Woolf will be hoping Will Hopoate, Sione Mata’utia, Mark Percival and Lewis Dodd shake off their knocks, though Regan Grace is still out.
