Hull FC v Leeds: 21-man squads, injury update and TV details

Hull FC and Leeds have both announced their squads for Thursday night’s round 16 clash at the MKM Stadium (KO 7:45pm).

FC were back in action last Thursday after several weeks out due to a COVID-19 outbreak at the club and were unable to come out on top, losing 40-26 to Huddersfield.

The Rhinos, meanwhile, returned to winning ways after losing to Catalans two weeks in a row, with a dominant 38-16 victory over Salford.

Hull FC

The Black and Whites are boosted by the return of several key players, with Josh Reynolds, Bureta Faraimo, Manu Ma’u, Joe Cator and Connor Wynne all back in contention. They replace Andre Savelio, who is suspended for punching against Huddersfield, Jude Ferreira and Aidan Burrell. There’s still no Jake Connor (jaw, knee), Josh Griffin (achilles), Scott Taylor (foot), Masi Matongo (knee) and Jamie Shaul (ACL).

Leeds Rhinos

Kiwi prop Zane Tetevano returns for the Rhinos after spending several weeks out due to the effects of COVID-19. He replaces Liam Sutcliffe, who failed a HIA test against Salford. Mikolaj Oledzki, Tom Holroyd and Luke Gale are also in contention after missing out against the Red Devils, the latter having been stood down as captain for ‘behaviours not aligned to team trademarks’. Bodene Thompson (suspended), Rob Lui (hamstring), Jack Broadbent (ankle), Alex Sutcliffe (knee) and Jack Walker (foot) remain unavailable.
