Hull FC boss Brett Hodgson has done it tough in 2022 with injuries.
The likes of Scott Taylor, Carlos Tuimavave and Josh Griffin have all suffered from big problems, but Hodgson has revealed that three of his chargers whom were injured in their last outing, are on the mend.
Ligi Sao injured his PCL against Wigan Warriors whilst Jordan Lane and Carlos Tuimavave incurred shoulder and hamstring issues respectively.
“Ligi is progressing nicely,” Hodgson told Hull Live. “I think he’ll be OK, we just have another couple of boxes to tick for him. Carlos got a knock on the weekend and again we’ll just see how he progresses over the next bit.
“Laney had an AC issue in his shoulder and again it will be something that probably has to be managed over the next period but he should be fine.”
Hull are one of the most improved sides in the division over the first half of the season, having started badly only to now occupy a play-off spot.
The Black and Whites have been particularly destructive in attack with fullback Jake Connor providing 22 assists already so far this season – five more than any other player.
