Huge injury blow for Leeds Rhinos as squads named for Castleford Tigers showdown

Castleford Tigers and Leeds Rhinos have named their squads for Thursday night’s Super League clash at The Jungle.

The Tigers, who are still under the stewardship of interim coach Andy Last following Lee Radford’s departure, have made two changes from the team that was beaten convincingly at Huddersfield last week.

Jordan Turner and Sam Hall come in for George Griffin and Alex Sutcliffe, with the latter missing out on facing his former club after failing a HIA against the Giants.

The Tigers are still searching for their first win of the season, having lost their opening four games to Hull FC, St Helens, Wigan Warriors and Huddersfield Giants.

Leeds boss Rohan Smith is without winger Ash Handley after he suffered an ankle injury in last week’s victory over Wakefield Trinity at Headingley Stadium.

Luis Roberts comes back into the squad alongside Justin Sangare and Kruise Leeming, with the Rhinos searching for their third win on the bounce having lost their opening two matches of the season.
