Huge fixture set to be streamed by club due to broadcasting problem

Super League and Championship TV coverage IMG

Once upon a time, Bradford Bulls battled with the likes of Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors, St Helens and Hull FC at the top of Super League.

But since 2014, they have been battling to return to Super League after relegation.

In 2023, they are as close as ever to promotion once again this year with a semi-final against Toulouse Olympique.

This game in France and not on TV but the club have been permitted to stream the game at Odsal by RL Commercial and Viaplay.

This is because the game is not scheduled to be broadcast over the weekend meaning Bradford fans unable to get to France wouldn’t be able to see the game.

This is great news for Bradford and goes alongside some great games on TV this week.

Friday 6th October

Catalan Dragons vs St Helens-8:00pm Sky Showcase and Sky Sports Mix

Friday night sees us travel to the South of France for the first of the men’s semi-finals. Catalans are fresh off a week’s rest; however St Helens come battle hardened following a tough match against Warrington Wolves. The two meetings between the sides this season have been absolute corkers, and with a place at Old Trafford on the line, there’s no reason this one won’t be another hotly contested tie.

Saturday 7th October

Wigan Warriors vs Hull KR- 12:45pm Sky Showcase, Sky Sports Arena and Channel 4

On Saturday morning we go to the DW Stadium as Wigan Warriors welcome Hull KR in the second semi-final. The two teams have already met in a semi-final this season in the Challenge Cup, with Brad Schneider dropping a famous golden point drop-goal to take his side to Wembley. They have also had some brilliant encounters in the League too, including another golden point thriller at Craven Park back in May; but will we see the same drama on Saturday afternoon? You’ll have to tune in to find out.

Sunday 8th October

York Valkyrie vs Leeds Rhinos- 3:00pm Sky Sports Arena and Sky Sports Mix

Featherstone Rovers vs London Broncos- 6:30pm Viaplay Sports 1

Rounding off the weekend, we are treated to two more firecrackers. First, it’s the Women’s Super League Grand Final as York face Leeds Rhinos. The Valkyrie will be out for Grand Final revenge after losing the same fixture last year to the Rhinos, but can Leeds make it two Super League titles in a row?

We then close the weekend in the Championship as Featherstone face the Broncos with a spot in the Championship Grand Final on the line. London have hit form at the perfect time, but standing in their way are the League Leaders Shield champions Featherstone Rovers.
