Huddersfield Giants release striking alternate kit for the 2024 campaign

Huddersfield Giants have bought well in the off-season to create a side that fans will be excited to see play in 2024, and they’ve now released their alternate kit that their new players will be lining up in.

The Giants have confirmed what their alternate kit will look like for the 2024 season, releasing a slick black and blue shirt with a modern pattern.

Confirmation of the club’s new shirt came via their social media and the club website where they announced the news and detailed what fans need to know about their newest shirt.

“Huddersfield Giants and Oxen are proud to reveal our 2024 Alternate Shirt, that will be worn during our upcoming Betfred Super League campaign.

“The striking cyan blue and grey shirt will be worn throughout our 2024 Campaign, with the shirt on sale now to Giants Supporters, priced at £51.99 for Adults.

“With our alternative shirt always being a popular choice among Giants Supporters due to the differing colours and designs, we expect this to be no different, with the chance to get your hands on this shirt online and also in-person, at our Squad Launch on 6th December.

“In what is an unusual but eye-catching blend of colours, we believe that this is one of our best designs in away shirts to date, and the Giants cannot wait to see our supporters sporting this shirt at the John Smith’s Stadium and away from home!”

Giants fans will be keen to see the likes of new signings such as Adam Clune and Thomas Deakin line up in their alternate shirt, both men having made the switch from Australia to link up with Ian Watson’s side.

Watson confirmed that Clune will be getting married down under at the start of December before heading over to link up with the squad, whilst young hooker Deakin has already arrived in West Yorkshire and had spoken previously about his excitement to play under Watson.

Speaking to BBC West Yorkshire, the 21-year-old stated: “I was watching Super League a fair bit then and I ended up getting to watch Watto’s team (Salford Red Devils) play within the Super League Grand Final.

“I’ve always known that he’s a good coach and I’ve seen him through that season. So when he come calling, it was a good honour to be honest to have him like me. I was really excited to be a part of this.”

Domestic signings such as ex-Hull FC pair Adam Swift and Andre Savelio have also arrived creating a fearsome squad for the Giants as they aim to improve on last season’s disappointment.
