Toulouse Olympique XIII will host the semi-final of the Championship play-offs in its Ernest-Wallon Stadium on Saturday October 2 with the time still yet to be announced.
The Rugby Football League (RFL) has confirmed that the finals of the 2021 Championship will be played on the side that finishes top – regardless of whether that is in France or the UK.
And, with Toulouse guaranteed to finish in one of the first two places in the able after qualifying for the last four, the French side will therefore play this important match at home.
In the event of qualifying for the final and if the French club is still the leader at the end of the regular season, the final for promotion to the Super League will also take place at Les Sept Deniers, on October 10.
The race to the top flight is heating up with Featherstone Rovers breathing down Toulouse’s necks with the likes of Halifax, York, and Bradford also in the mix.
