Featherstone Rovers confirm retention of key player with hilarious video

Featherstone Rovers are quietly preparing for a big year in 2023 as they look to secure promotion to Super League.

The likes of Luke Briscoe and co have been signed on to the club in 2023 once again as they maintain the core of a strong squad.

Meanwhile new boss Sean Long, formerly assistant at the likes of Leeds and St Helens, has taken charge after previously working with the club in 2013.

Since taking over from Brian McDermott, Long has made a number of signings including the likes of Mathieu Cozza from Catalans and former Wigan Warriors and London Broncos man Chris Hankinson from Toulouse.

Now they have continued their squad building with the news of Jack Bussey’s re-signing.

Bussey began his career at Fev a decade ago with 69 appearances in his first spell with the club. In 2016 he joined London prior to a spell with the developing Toronto Wolfpack.

When that came to an end, he joined Fev where he has been since playing as a strong forward with a touch of skill.

Bussey has signed on for another year with the Rovers in 2023 to hopefully finally help them achieve their Super League ambitions.

The Rovers announced the signing in the best way possible with a clip from beloved show Family Guy tweaked to make it about Bussey.
