Ex-Hull FC star Mark Minichiello takes new career path after Super League stint

Mark Minichiello once boasted the reputation for being one of the most toughest and most durable rugby league players on the planet.

Built like a house, but with the feet of a ballerina, Minichiello became a cult favourite in one part of East Yorkshire.

The back-rower spent five seasons with Hull FC between 2014 and 2019, scoring 21 tries in 138 appearances after periods at South Sydney Rabbitohs and Gold Coast Titans.

But, after retiring almost three years ago, Minichiello has now found a new vocation in life.

Minichiello posted on Instagram: “It’s been 2.5 years since I retired as a professional athlete and its been a long and exciting journey to master a new craft in Corrective Exercise and Holistic Lifestyle Coaching.

“Studying through the @chekinstitute taking on as much of @paul.chek wisdom and knowledge as possible has been an amazing experience of self discovery and expansion.

“I lived a lot of these principles before starting this journey but the growth and self awareness gained has been invaluable.

“I look forward to sharing and helping people achieve there (sic) goals.”
