Castleford head coach Daryl Powell is able to recall Larne Patrick, Olivier Holmes and Adam Milner into his 19-man squad for Thursday’s match against St Helens.
Kevin Larroyer, who is suspended, drops out along with Gadwin Springer and Jake Trueman.
The Tigers will go 12 points clear at the top if they beat Saints at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.
Speaking to the club’s website, Powell said: “This is the best possible start for us in the Super 8s because we can not dip our toes into the water against St. Helens with the way they are playing at the moment and I think we are really going to need to be a the top of our game to win this game. They are going to come and challenge us in every department.”
“Adam Milner and Larne Patrick will come back into the squad. We were unsure on how Jake Webster was going to go through this week so we’ve not risked him. Oliver Holmes looked good in practice, he rejoined the side towards the back end of last week and he’s been going well so far this week.”
