Castleford Tigers release outstanding jersey for 2023 Super League campaign

Excitement is already building around the Jungle for 2023.

The Tigers have made some exciting signings already. They will have a brand new halfback partnership in the shape of former NRL winner Gareth Widdop and ex-Wakefield man Jacob Miller.

They have also signed powerful prop Albert Vete from Hull KR and promising prop Muizz Mustapha from Leeds.

Mustapha is the first of a number of exciting young signings Castleford are bringing in for 2023 and beyond as Lee Radford builds both for next year and for beyond.

Radford will be determined to take Castleford back to the play-offs in 2023 having missed out in the last three seasons.

The Tigers were very close in 2021 and 2022. In 2021 they came up short due to a thumping defeat against Warrington in the final round and this year a late flurry from Leeds at Headingley saw the Rhinos book their place in the play-offs at Castleford’s expense in a tense clash between the two that ended 14-8 thanks to an Aidan Sezer try.

So, the aim will be the top six in 2023 and the Tigers will also want to look good doing it.

This doesn’t just mean they will be playing a good brand of rugby league but is also pertains to the jerseys they will wear which have today been released.

The shirt again incorporates a vibrant orange but this plays second fiddle to black.

The sleeves are back and after an orange chest portion of the shirt, the rest is black and adorned by pairs of orange stripes which create a fantastic dynamic between the vibrant colours and the black base.

The ensemble is complete with black shirts which helps create a really smart looking kit which uses a vibrant colour in a small but maximised way that create a modern yet smart look.

The shirt is now available to buy.
