Castleford Lock Lane are set to take on Rochdale Hornets in their Challenge Cup tie this coming Saturday in what is expected to be an incredible occasion.
The amateur side have already knocked out League 1 Oldham and will fancy their chances against another League 1 side in Rochdale – especially at home in front of what is expected to be a vociferous crowd.
And, now Lock Lane have sent out a message to all those attending following a ‘phenomenal’ uptake in tickets for the tie which will be broadcast live on The Sportsman on Saturday afternoon.
The club tweeted: “FANS URGED TO ARRIVE EARLY.
“The interest in our Bretfred Challenge Cup tie with Rochdale Hornets has been phenomenal.
“We urge fans to arrive early on Saturday, with gates opening at midday.
“Can we also remind people the upstairs bar area will be open pre match and during the match for VIP guests only, catering will be in place for supporters.”

It is expected to be a mouthwatering tie with thousands expected to turn up to see a potential giantkilling once more in the third round of the prestigious Challenge Cup competition.
