Bradford reveal reserves squad for 2020

Bradford have revealed the players who will make up the majority of their reserves side for next season’s Reserves Championship.

The Bulls have retained several players from their academy system, whilst also bringing in three new faces from elsewhere.

Jamaica international Jacob Smillie and ex-West Wales and Coventry player Dewi Billingham both join from Halifax, while James McGurk arrives from Newcastle Thunder.

Eight of the players that featured in the Bulls’ 1895 Cup game against Barrow, which saw the club field their youngest ever side, have also been included.

Perhaps the most recognisable name is halfback Cobi Green, who recently returned from representing the Wales senior side at the World Cup Nines.

The reserve squad will likely be supplemented each week by a select few players from the Bulls’ senior side who miss out on selection for the first team.

Bradford Bulls 2020 reserve squad: Cameron Berry, Dewi Billingham, Ryan Butterworth, Keelan Foster, Brad Gallagher, Cobi Green, Bradley Ho, Billy Jowitt, Ryan Leadbeater, Luke Littlewood, James McGurk, Ethan O’Hanlon, Kian Oldroyd, Matthew Race, Ebon Scurr, Jacob Smillie, Murphy Smith, Sam Smith, Alix Stephenson, Vytas Vaznys.
