Ashton Sims and Liam Kay banned

Ashton Sims banned

Following tonight’s disciplinary hearings, Warrington forward Ashton Sims and Toronto winger Liam Kay have received bans.

Sims pleaded guilty to intentionally standing on an opponent during Sunday’s Challenge Cup match against Widnes, resulting in a one-match ban and £300 fine.

Meanwhile Kay has also been banned for one match after he pleaded guilty to punching in the League 1 match against Oxford earlier this month.

His Wolfpack team-mate Blake Wallace and Oxford player Callum Windley were also found guilty of punching but both were fined £75 and escaped suspension.

Batley Bulldogs half-back Dom Brambani was the other player to be heard this evening, he pleaded not-guilty to standing on an opponent and was found not-guilty.
