All five Rugby League games on TV-including England vs Tonga third test

Channel 4 TV Cameras at an empty Headingley Stadium.

We’ve reached the conclusion of the 2023 season; however we have one final treat in store with five blockbuster games on our screens this weekend!

In the North, England and Tonga battle it out in the final game of the series, the England Women take on Wales and the Wheelchair team are in action. In the South, the Pacific Championship reaches its conclusion, with the Cup and Bowl Finals.

Here is how you can catch all the action:

Saturday 4th November

New Zealand vs Australia-4:00am Sky Sports Arena

England vs Wales-12:00 BBC Two

England vs Tonga-2:30pm BBC One

Saturday’s Rugby League action kicks off with a bang as two heavyweights lock horns. Australia got one over bitter rivals New Zealand last weekend, but now the Kiwi’s have a chance at revenge; and with silverware on the line this will defiantly be worth the early wake-up.

After that, all eyes turn to Headingley for the England double header. The Women are up first, as they battle it out against rivals Wales. The England team is littered with Super League and NRLW stars such as Jodie Cunningham, Amy Hardcastle and Georgia Roche, so it promises to be a tasty encounter. Following this, the men’s team face Tonga as they look for a clean sweep in the series.

Shaun Wane’s side have edged the first two tests against the tourists and will be licking their lips at the chance to secure the whitewash, but Kristian Woolf’s men will be hell-bent on getting a win on Saturday, so it should be a cracking contest at Headingley.

Sunday 5th November

Fiji vs Papua New Guinea-5:00am Sky Sports Arena

England vs France- 3:15pm BBC Two

Sunday’s action again kicks-off down under as Fiji take on PNG. Fiji put the Kumuls to the sword last weekend, however the PNG team will want to give them a taste of their own medicine with the Pacific Bowl title on the line. There is also plenty of Super League interest in this match, with the likes of Jason Qareqare, Edwin Ipape and Lachlan Lam all representing their countries.

Rounding off the weekend, and the 2023 season, is the Wheelchair match between England and France. The teams haven’t played each other since the dramatic World Cup Final last year, where England were crowned World Champions; but will we see the same drama again this Sunday? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
