Hull FC coach Brett Hodgson has opened up to League Express about the worries he will be facing as head coach as the fixtures begin to pile up.
Hull have had four games postponed due to COVID-19, with another added to the tally due to Salford’s inability to field a team.
And, Hodgson is keen to ensure that Thursday’s visit to Huddersfield goes ahead.
“We’re going to do our best to cope (with the fixture pile-up), but it will be difficult as the season goes on,” said Hodgson.
“It’s going to eventually have to happen that some games probably don’t get played, but we’re doing everything we can.
“The fixtures are tough and you have got to fit in games wherever you can. It’s the same for every other team, and there may be some games that we can’t get on due to various things. It’s a very difficult situation.”
