The NRL is aiming at the Big Apple for an end-of-season test between Australia and Tonga according to reports from Down Under.

Just a month after England’s historic match with New Zealand in Denver, the NRL seem to have changed their tune on the international game as it has been revealed New York is the target for this potential matchup.

NRL.com also mentioned that “it is believed one of the promoters involved is the group behind the bid for a New York team to play in the English Super League in 2020′.

To possibly be held on October 20th, a week after Australia’s test with New Zealand in Auckland, the Kangaroos will travel to the USA for a clash with the ever-growing Tongans.
