The top five Super League shirts for 2024

The 2024 season is getting closer and closer with pre-season games set to start tomorrow on Boxing Day, meaning fans will soon be getting a glimpse at their teams in action in their new fresh kits.

Plenty of fans will have opened up new 2024 Super League shirts today but which are the best of the new crop of designs?

For the home shirts lots of teams have gone traditional, however the away shirts and alternate strips have allowed the clubs to be more experimental in their choice.

Here’s the five shirts that Serious About Rugby League think are most stylish for the 2024 campaign.

5: Hull KR Home

The Robins have gone back to a predominantly white shirt with a red band, breaking the streak of predominantly red home shirts that they’ve opted for in recent years. The red sleeves incorporate the Robin badge into the pattern which adds a smart detail to what is otherwise a simplistic and sleek look. Plenty of fans will be keen to see how Willie Peters side fare in this impressive home kit.

4: Leeds Rhinos Home

Another side that have opted to go back to a white strip is Leeds Rhinos and they launched their 2024 shirt with new signings Brodie Croft and Andy Ackers wearing the impressive top. The blue and amber still features on the sleeves and down the sides but the main body of the shirt is white.

3: Leigh Leopards Home

Leigh shocked everyone when they released their shirt for 2023 with the huge leopard face taking centre stage with it’s red eyes. This time round the club have instead opted for a red and black leopard print design and it looks a lot better. The Leopards have paired with Patrick to launch the shirt and it’s fair to say they’ve smashed it out of the park.

2: Catalans Dragons Home

The Dragons made it all the way to the Grand Final in 2023 but a huge turnover in players presents them with a difficult task to succeed again in 2024. Despite that they’ll be playing in a sleek kit that’s bound to be popular with the fans for it’s red and yellow chevron emblazoned across the chest of the white shirt. Red sleeves complete the look for the Perpignan side who will aim to go one step further this year.

1: Leeds Rhinos Heritage

The Rhinos have smashed it out of the park this year with shirts, so much so that they feature twice in this top five list. Whilst the home shirt looks fresh with it’s new white look, this heritage shirt is a throwback to the start of the glory days for the club and the nostalgia makes it all the better. The club’s heritage shirt is a throwback to 2004 when they first lifted the Grand Final and for fans of a certain age this will be a huge hit. An old classic reinvented.
