
St Helens forward Alex Walmsley has been given a two-match ban by the Match Review Panel for Dangerous Contact.
Walmsley was sin binned for his tackle on Alex Sutcliffe during the Saints’ 40-8 victory over Leeds Rhinos on Friday.
He will now miss their upcoming matches against Wigan Warriors and Catalans Dragons.
In the same game, Tom Holroyd was given a charge for Dangerous Contact after a tackle on Tommy Makinson. However, he has not been given a ban.
Salford Red Devils centre Kallum Watkins was also given a charge of Dangerous Contact after his tackle on Oliver Gildart during the Red Devils’ defeat against Wigan Warriors. He will also not face a ban.
Finally, Red Devils forward James Greenwood was given a caution for Dangerous Contact for his tackle on Liam Farrell.
