St Helens have seen their away allocation of match tickets extended for the Betfred Super League Round 5 trip to AMT Headingley Stadium to play Leeds Rhinos on Friday, 15th March, 8pm kick-off.

Clashes between Saints and the Rhinos are typically entertaining and enthralling matches, and with so many of our fans already confirmed to be heading across the M62 it should make for an electric atmosphere.

Leeds Rhinos and St Helens history
Leeds Rhinos and St Helens have a special history. In 2007, they met in their first final since the 1979 Challenge Cup Final where Leeds edged the Saints in a classic at Wembley 14-12 thanks to a left footed drop goal from John Holmes.
The two are undoubtedly two of the biggest clubs on the planet. From 2004-09 one of the two clubs finished top in every season with clubs finishing first and second in 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
They contested three Grand Finals in a row from 2007-09 all won by the Rhinos and in 2011 Leeds defeated St Helens in the Grand Final having finished fifth.
In 2022, St Helens gained a measure of revenge defeating the Rhinos in the Grand Final. Saints have not lost at Headingley since 2017.
In 2018, a Danny Richardson drop goal ended a run without a win at Headingley since 2015. Last year it was a golden point Lewis Dodd drop goal at Headingley that defeated the Rhinos.
