According to reports, Canterbury Bulldogs are considering an audacious triple swoop for all three May brothers including new Hull KR signing Tyrone May.
The versatile halfback came over to Super League as an NRL winner in 2o22 with the Catalans Dragons and then cemented himself as the club’s stand-off in 2023 and helped the club return to Old Trafford where they came up short against Wigan Warriors.
After this, he joined Hull KR on a two-year deal but despite this Canterbury Bulldogs, who were linked with May early in 2023, are considering a triple swoop for May and his brothers Taylan and Terrell.
Hull KR are in a strong position with May tied down to two years and awarded the number 27 shirt for the 2024 season.

According to reports in the Sydney Morning Herald, the Bulldogs have made an approach to Taylan May, the premiership-winning player from Panthers. The Belmore club expressed their interest in signing May to his management if he is willing to explore options outside of Penrith.
May, who is currently 22 years old, has only one year left in his contract with the Panthers, and has been free to negotiate with other teams for 2025 and beyond since November last year.
The Bulldogs have been in negotiations with Terrell May, who is a forward for the Roosters and the brother of Panthers player, about joining their team as early as 2024. May made his debut for the Panthers in 2021 and had an amazing season scoring 16 tries in 21 games, which helped his team win the premiership in 2022.
However, he suffered an ACL injury during the 2023 World Club Challenge which sidelined him for the entire last season. Sunia Turuva replaced him on the wing as Penrith went on to win their third consecutive title. The Bulldogs are interested in meeting with May to discuss his options if he is genuinely considering a move.
