One of Leeds Rhinos’ new signings is determined to deliver “big things” to Headingley.
He wants to deliver this as a Christmas present, albeit slightly late on Boxing Day, as he said on the club’s YouTube channel:
“Very excited to start with Leeds, it is going to be a big part of my life and against Wakefield is the start of everything and I want to show what I can do for Leeds and hopefully I can do big things.”
He has been very impressed with the squad and the way they have helped him settle in:
“It’s been very good, the boys are a good crew and help me a lot even if I don’t speak English very well, they help me a lot.
“It’s the best for me. All the guys and the staff are helping me a lot, with my house, my car and helping me get to the training centre.”
He is especially impressed by the young players at the club:
“You can feel the young blood, they give us energy and push us to get better every day.”
It is also a very different experience for young prop:
“Everything is different, we have an ice bath and all these things near us to get ready for the next day and for recovery which is different.”
