Hardaker praises Rovers style

Wigan Warriors fullback Zak Hardaker was full of praise for the style Hull KR have produced since the restart.

The Rovers have played two games since coming back against third placed Warrington Wolves and second placed St Helens.

In both matches, they have pushed both sides, but not come away with the result.

But Hardaker said the Warriors’ approach will not change, after a couple of close matches against Wakefield Trinity, Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers.

He said: “I watched their game yesterday, and their game the other week against Warrington and they went for a short kick off.

“As a neutral, I loved it, and I was cheering them on. I thought it was brilliant.

“They have had a change in mindset, and were able to go toe-to-toe with Warrington. Their style is really good on the eye.

“But we are just focusing on us. It’s up to us to show what we have been doing since we’ve come back.

“It’s just about momentum, keep ticking away and getting the two points. The further up the ladder we keep going, the better it will be come the end of the season.”
