Bradford Bulls could be set for another major stadium development

Bradford Bulls have confirmed a new stadium sponsorship for Odsal Stadium with a multi-year deal with Barter Card which has seen the stadium renamed to Bartercard Odsal Stadium.

This was announced as fans hoped that the announcement would be confirmation of a lease after the RFL pulled out due to the situation around IMG.

The club are set to secure one and despite suggestions that it could be someone who will remove rugby league from Odsal, this is highly unlikely.

So, a lease to protect the club is highly likely but another issue is the fact that they need redevelopments to ensure an improved IMG score.

With the council unable to fund this, this deal with a very affluent company could help move the Bradford Bulls and the stadium forward who have shown ambition in the transfer market.

Bradford Bulls chief delighted with stadium deal

Bradford Bulls’ Chief Executive Jason Hirst said: “The decision by Bartercard to back the Bulls at Odsal is a terrific boost to the stadium and undeniable vote of confidence in both the club and the city.

“This multi-year deal is also testament to the great work and tenacity of our Commercial Manager, Ian Stafford.

“On behalf of the Bradford Bulls, I would also like to thank Chris, Marios, Ella and the wider Bartercard UK team for their support and vote of confidence in the club, its ownership team and the wider Bulls family.

Chris Kirby, Bartercard UK’s Managing Director, said:

“We are thrilled at Bartercard UK to partner with Bradford Bulls, marking a significant moment by naming the iconic venue as Bartercard Odsal Stadium in its 90th year. This partnership underscores our commitment to innovation, leveraging our unique digital currency.

“With over £425 million traded annually on our network, we see immense value in aligning with the heritage and spirit of the Bulls. We extend our sincerest thanks to the Bradford Bulls team for this opportunity and look forward to the growth and success this partnership will bring to both our communities.

“Here’s to a future of shared achievements and making history together at the Bartercard Odsal Stadium.”

The Bulls are still a massive club who are on the up.
