Adam Milner named against former side in all important clash at the Jungle

Castleford Tigers face the in-form Huddersfield Giants at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle tonight, looking to gain a bit of breathing room in the relegation scrap.

A win for the Fords will see them go two points clear on bottom side Wakefield ahead of the Trin’s game against Hull FC on Sunday; however it will be a tough test against the Giants, who come to the Jungle off the back of three wins on the spin.

The team news is now in, and the Fords will hand debuts to Charbel Tasipale and Liam Horne. Tasipale will begin from the off in the centres, and Horne is included on the bench as Jordan Johnstone continues at hooker.

Turning attention to the halves, Jack Broadbent and Jacob Miller will look to link up well as they start together. Gareth Widdop is back from injury, and features at full-back. Completing the spine Joe Westerman starts.

In the pack, Alex Foster starts in the second-row, alongside Kenny Edwards. Suaia Matagi and George Lawler start together and will look to bring plenty of physicality through the middle. New addition Billy Tsikrikas is included on the bench.

For the Giants, they only make two changes to their squad from last week. Ash Goulding comes back into the side for Jermaine McGillvary, and Matty English starts in place of Luke Yates at loose forward.

All eyes will be on Adam Milner tonight, as the former Tiger starts at hooker for the Giants tonight. He spent 13 seasons at Castleford before his move to the John Smiths, and notched up over 300 appearances.

Elsewhere in their spine, Jake Connor, Olly Russell and Tui Lolohea all feature. They will be looking to carry on their impressive form tonight.

In the pack, Chris Hill will be hoping for a repeat of his impressive display last week which saw him awarded Man of the Match. Olly Wilson is his partner in the middle unit. Chris McQueen is another basking in glorious form for the Giants, and he is included from the off alongside Leroy Cudjoe in the second row.
