Lee Radford makes interesting halfback call as star man returns for Huddersfield Giants

The team news is in for Castleford Tigers’ clash against Huddersfield Giants in Nathan Massey’s testimonial at the Jungle today.

Lee Radford has made a big call at halfback with Paul McShane replacing Jacob Miller at seven in his absence as he is not risked as a precaution.

Gareth Widdop does debut at six whilst Niall Evalds makes his first appearance of pre-season at fullback with Joe Westerman at loose-forward.

Adam Milner starts at nine in place of skipper McShane whilst Jack Broadbent is given his debut at centre.

In terms of home debuts were Broadbent, Widdop, Muizz Mustapha and Albert Vete are all given home debuts.

As for Huddersfield Giants, Tui Lolohea features after missing the last friendly.

Jermaine McGillvary returns from an injury picked up last season whilst Jake Bibby and Sam Halsall start at centre after their moves from Wigan Warriors.

Will Pryce and Oliver Russell start in the halves as well.

Innes Senior starts on the wing with Joe Greenwood and Seb Ikahihifo are the props with Adam O’Brien at nine now that Nathan Peats.

Jack Ashworth and Josh Jones start in the second-row and Nathan Mason is at 13. Jack Bibby is on the bench after his move Wigan.
