Bradford Bulls launch stunning blue alternate shirt

Bradford Bulls have become the latest side to launch their alternate shirt for the 2024 season, pairing their iconic home shirt with a stylish blue shirt for their away trips.

The Bulls are a team on the up following an impressive 2023 campaign in which they placed third in the Championship, winning one play-off clash before falling short in Toulouse.

Now the club go forward under Eamonn O’Carroll with plenty of home grown talent looking to get on the field, further evidenced by the club’s bold decision to go without a Super League dual registration partner.

That was a decision made with the club and it’s players at heart, the intent being to get plenty of Bradford’s own players representing the club as opposed to leaning on Super League sides to help develop their talent.

Instead now it should mean that the Bulls are able to flourish and more talented young stars such as Ebon Scurr can come through, the young prop having signed a new deal at the end of his successful 2023 campaign.

The 23-year-old now has a stunning new alternate shirt to line up in as well with the Bulls launching a blue kit to pair with their home shirt.

It was announced via their X profile with an accompanying statement on the club website.

That statement read: “Bradford Bulls are delighted to reveal our stunning blue alternate jersey for the 2024 season!

“The stunning jersey sees the Bulls adopt a new alternate colour, with the top featuring a number of different shades of blue. The collar and cuffs see a thick dark navy band accompanied by a thin orange line.

“Varley’s Builders Merchants see their branding feature front and centre following last week’s announcement that they have come on board as our new Main Sponsors for 2024.

“La Romantica Beds, ACS Group, 1st Safari Thornton Lodge Nursery, ATM Events and ATM Hospitality are all new shirt sponsors next year, with all sponsorship spots filled once again.”

The shirt is already available to pre-order and will surely prove a hit with fans, much like their home shirt did when it was released just over one week ago.

That home shirt saw the team return to a more traditional ‘Vee’ style chevron across the chest, reminiscent of the club’s glory days back in Super League.

Even more positive news of late has seen the team announce that young Aidan McGowan has joined for the 2024 season on loan from Huddersfield.
