Kevin Brown says Super League side have one of the worst attacks he has seen

It’s Easter which means its Rivals Round in the Betfred Super League.

There is a lot of focus on the Hull derby and the clash between Wigan Warriors and St Helens on Good Friday as traditionally the two biggest derbies, but the most important could be tonight’s clash between Wakefield Trinity and Castleford Tigers.

After seven rounds, they only have one win between them and at present they are the sides most threatened by relegation.

A win for either side would be huge.

In the eyes of Kevin Brown on The Last Tackle Podcast, Trinity have to change their attack to give themselves a chance.

In fact, he said it’s one of the worst attacks he has seen in Super League history.

Brown said: “The change has got to be their attack, it’s as poor an attack that I’ve seen in Super League. I think that’s the fourth game where they’ve not scored a point last week, and then there’s other games where they’ve scraped a try through a kick.

“Their attack if they can get that right then it gives a chance to them because defensively they’ve got some spirit. They’re trying for their coach, they’re trying for the badge but they’ve not got enough ideas and creativity.”

Trinity need a win away tonight to give themselves hope of survival.
