Leigh Leopards owner Derek Beaumont revealed that “the plan” for the Leopards is to make further signings including a middle.
So, here’s three forwards the Leopards could sign for 2023.
Dylan Napa
Catalans Dragons agreed to a mutual termination of Dylan Napa’s contract however he fits the bill for the Leopards. A former NRL Grand Final winner he will bring great experience and strength to the Leopards’ middle units in 2023 and will be a major signing for the club.
Ava Seumanufagai
A former Challenge Cup winner with the Leeds Rhinos in 2020, it was reported after he left Canterbury Bulldogs that he was headed to Super League. He would make a great signing for the Leopards.
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves
This has been rumoured for some time. The New Zealand international and former NRL winner has been linked with a potential Super League move with Catalans Dragons interested. It has also been reported that he could struggle for game time in 2023 which could soon lead to a Super League move and the Leopards and Dragons will likely battle for him.
