Three coaches who could replace Shaun Wane as England boss before the next World Cup

As the football world speculates over Gareth Southgate’s future, rugby league fans are speculating over the future of Shaun Wane after England were dumped out of the Rugby League World Cup in the semi-finals.

These were compounded by the comments of ex-St Helens Jon Wilkin and ex-Wigan Warriors Brian Carney on Sky Sports.

So, if Wane was to step down before the next World Cup in 2025 in France – he only has one more year on his current deal – who should replace him?

Paul Rowley
The modern game requires a coach who knows how to get the most out of all players in the modern game. Paul Rowley is that man. He maximises every element of the game, no coach is as good at getting his side to control a game which is a must in knockout rugby.
