Love him or hate him, Jake Connor is one of the most talented rugby league players in Super League at present.
An absolute maverick that can wow audiences in a split-second, the Hull FC fullback also sometimes lets emotion get the better of him during games.
Shaun Wane left Connor out of his 30-man England training squad that was announced a few weeks ago, but then the FC man put in the performance of a lifetime against Leeds Rhinos to get people thinking once more.
And, the Hull FC Twitter account revealed this morning just how influential the former Huddersfield Giants star has been so far in the 2022 Super League season.
Connor has been directly involved in 13 tries in just four games for the Black and Whites – an incredible achievement and over three try involvements per game so far.

When asked by Sky Sports pundit Jenna Brooks whether or not he has spoken to England head coach Shaun Wane about being left out of the 30-man training squad, Connor revealed there has been no contact.
“I haven’t spoken to him and I’m just focusing on what I need to do and everything will take care of itself.”
