Former Castleford Tigers fullback Calum Turner has made the switch to Hull Rugby Union.
The Tigers academy graduate made 15 first-team appearances with Castleford before making the move to Newcastle Thunder last season.
The 23-year-old joins Thunder after making 15 first team appearances for Super League side Castleford.
Turner said at the time of signing for Newcastle: “The club is trying to go in the right direction and get into Championship and then further on from that, so it seems a great idea to sign.
“I played at Cas for six years and fortunately got to play Super League with them, but I can’t wait to join Newcastle and to get back to enjoying playing rugby.”
Turner also made eight appearances whilst on-loan at Featherstone in 2019, but the 22-year-old has decided to switch codes and was in the Hull Rugby Union side that took on Blaydon in a National League game at the weekend.
