Three games took place last night, with St Helens thrashing Hull FC, Castleford going down to Huddersfield and Catalans narrowly beating Hull KR. But, just how did social media react?
One Castleford fan was worried about the continuous losses at home.
We haven't won a game at home since fans have been let back in š¤š¤š£

Tigers star Suaia Matagi did make one fan’s night though.

And, Castleford youngster Cain Robb came in for some high praise.
Cain Robb was superb again tonight, Iād want him signed up long-term ASAP.
Macca, Shenny and Massey all stood up to be counted and led from the front, and not one of the youngsters let us down. Thought Peachey in particular had his best game so far.

One Castleford fan was apathetic about the whole season.
Must say I went only because it's what I've done for 46 years and habits die hard. But no sense of anticipation, expectation – or disappointment at the result.
Just a shrug, on to the next game, on to the end of the season.
Let's get 2021 written off and start afresh.#COYF š¤š— Bloke from Cas š¤š (@BlokeFromCas) August 2, 2021
One Hull fan praised their side, despite the 42-10 drubbing.

Though that was countered by some strong FC opinions.

Another Hull fan echoed those sentiments.
That was absolutely pathetic from ourselves, and from the referee https://t.co/8qYIlsKu7o

Meanwhile, one Saints fan couldn’t help but be overjoyed by the performance of young Jack Welsby yet again.
It's Jack Welsby's world and we're just living in it

Though a neutral supporter couldn’t help but come up with his own conspiracy theory.
Once again the refs show who the Super Leagueās favourite team are. More protected than the president. If Charnleyās ātryā happened for these the refs wouldāve given them 20 points.

One Hull KR fan was happy in which the direction his club seems to be going.

That view was shared by another Rovers fan.

Another complaint about the standard of refereeing eked out though.
Refereeing was disgraceful, the standard of referees in super league is shocking
