News Corp has reported that Anthony Milford will be remaining in the NRL.
Only last week, Brisbane legend Gorden Tallis predicted Milford would be on the UK shores in 2022, but that move has not been forthcoming.
Brisbane’s new head of football Ben Ikin confirmed that the 27-year-old would not be staying at Red Hill once his mega $1 million-per season contract expired, saying “it’s time for Milford to go and find himself a fresh environment.”
New Corp has reported that Milford is in “advanced stages of brokering a deal” to stay in the NRL.
