Tigers star facing domestic violence charge

Wests Tigers star Josh Reynolds has been charged with a domestic violence offence by New South Wales Police.

According to a Police Statement, Reynolds handed himself in after a woman reported the alleged incident to St George Police Station.

The Woman had bruising to her right arm and left leg.

The Tigers confirmed that they are working with police and the NRL Integrity Unit.

“The NRL takes any allegation of violence or disrespect towards women extremely seriously,” the NRL said in a statement.

“The Integrity Unit is seeking further information from NSW Police before determining any immediate action.”

Possible actions include  standing him down from club duties.

No further comment will be made by the club or the NRL while the matter is ongoing.

Reynolds will be appearing at Sutherland Local Court next Wednesday. He is vigorously contesting the charge.
