Zane Tetevano faces potential mammoth ban following horror shot on Konrad Hurrell as Leeds Rhinos given THREE cards

Zane Tetevano (13) of Leeds Rhinos is tackled by James Roby #9 and Agnatius Paasi #17 of St Helens

Things went from bad to worse for Leeds Rhinos in tonight’s loss to St Helens.

After losing 36-12 in the dying moments of the fixture, Leeds were sent down to 12 men when Zane Tetevano hit Konrad Hurrell with a massive shot as he kicked through the line.

Zane Tetevano was shown the red card for a horror shot on Konrad Hurrell with just four minutes to go.

Saints went int the break with a 16-6 half-time lead courtesy of Konrad Hurrell, Alex Walmsley and Regan Grace tries – though the latter effort had some controversy about it following a suspicious knock on.

Leeds did reply with a superb Harry Newman effort, but Saints extended their lead to 20-6 after the break.

Bodene Thompson scored in the 52nd minute to show some defiance to make it 20-12, but four more Saints tries inflated the scoreline to 42-12 to take it out of the reach of Leeds.
