Aaron Jones-Bishop of Hunslet has been suspended for eight matches after being found guilty of a Grade F charge of “Other Contrary Behaviour – biting” in the Betfred League 1 fixture against Rochdale Hornets on August 22.

Jones-Bishop was found not guilty of a separate Grade C charge of punching in the same fixture.

The player has already indicated that he will be taking up the right of appeal, with the appeal to be heard this evening (September 2).

Also at Wednesday evening’s Operational Rules Tribunal hearings, the three-match suspension imposed on the Leeds forward Zane Tetevano for a reckless high tackle graded C in the Betfred Super League fixture at Wigan on August 25 was upheld.

That means Tetevano will miss Leeds’ clash with Hull FC on Saturday evening at the Magic Weekend and further fixtures against St Helens and Hull KR.
