Your club’s player with a point to prove in 2023: Hull FC

The best thing about sport is that it is an ongoing story. Its stars are the characters, the stadiums are the majestic settings that home fairytales and each season acts as a chapter in the most compelling on running drama series man has ever penned.

Every year it seems there are a million stories to light up Super League often driven by the stars of the game.

Whether it is a star player shining as bright as can be, a youngster making a name for himself, a new signing changing the complexion of the league or someone written off in the past who has a point to prove in the new season.

That’s what we’re considering today, those players with a point to prove in 2023 and we’re looking at Hull FC.

Hull FC as a club have a few points to prove in 2023.

After another disappointing end to a season in 2022, this is a fresh new start under the leadership of Tony Smith at the MKM Stadium.

Almost everyone will have a point to prove and not least the new signings.

However, one signing amongst those stands out. That is Brad Dwyer. The hooker was left out of the Grand Final at Leeds Rhinos last year and indeed the play-offs leading up to it.

This was after he came up with a number of magic moments to guide Leeds to the play-offs only for Rohan Smith to decide to let him go.

Now at his new club he has surprisingly been given the number 33 shirt.

This will give him that little bit more to prove in 2023.
