Young winger to face former club as Leeds Rhinos and Leigh Leopards both make just one change

Leeds Rhinos travel to Leigh on Friday night looking to extend their winning run to three and head into the international break on a high.

Rohan Smith’s men have often been up and down this season with consistency being a real issue to nail down but they look to have found some now, but face a difficult Leigh side come Friday.

The Leopards are coming off the back of an impressive 32-0 win at Wakefield and their winger Josh Charnley is in red-hot form having scored 12 tries through the nine rounds of Super League so far.

Adrian Lam has obviously once again named Charnley in his 21-man squad.

Lam has made just one change with Tom Nisbet replacing Jacob Gannon, the rest of the squad remains the same and will look for a second consecutive win.

As for Leeds they’ve also made just one change and that sees Luis Roberts, formerly of Leigh, return to the squad in place of James Donaldson.

Smith has kept the faith with much of the men who’ve helped earn him wins these past two weeks.

Cameron Smith, deemed unfortunate by some not to have been selected by Shaun Wane for England, is set to make his 100th Super League appearance for the Rhinos.

They remain without David Fusitu’a, Derrell Olpherts and Max Simpson leaving a presumed starting back-line of Nene Macdonald, Harry Newman, Rhyse Martin and Ash Handley in front of full-back Richie Myler.
