York have strengthened their squad further ahead of next season, with the re-signing of popular hooker Will Jubb.
The 23-year-old Hull KR academy product joined the Knights in 2018 after a successful loan spell the previous season.
He has since gone on to make over 50 appearances for the club, scoring 14 tries.
He becomes the latest member of James Ford’s side to sign up for 2020, taking their squad to 14 players so far.
“I have really enjoyed my time at the club so far and have definitely grown as a player because of the fantastic coaching staff and the great group of lads we have got,” he said. “I’m really looking forward to the new season ahead and will be trying my best to continue developing my game and help the club get to where it wants to be.”
City Knights’ head coach Ford added: “I’m delighted with Will’s progress, his drive to improve and maximise his potential is inspiring for us all.
“His skill and deception around the ruck is outstanding and we were all pleased with his defensive intent too.
“We all really enjoy working with Will and I’m very confident we have yet to see him at his very best.”
