York bolster ranks with signing

Hull Kingston Rovers have confirmed that Mikey Lewis will remain at York City Knights on a rolling, week-by-week loan deal.

The deal comes with an option for immediate recall to the Robins.

Lewis has played 14 games for Hull KR since bursting onto the scene in 2019, but has found gametime limited in 2021 with Matty Storton seemingly being preferred.

Lewis, in the meantime, has excelled whilst playing in the second division with York, though the Knights sit in 11th in the table.

I don’t think Matty Storton has been preferred to Lewis. Matty Storton has made 9 starts, all from the bench, Lewis has made 5 starts, all in the team. Milnes has made 6 starts, all in the team.
