World Cup star and ex-Castleford Tigers man squad numbers confirmed for 2023

Newcastle Thunder head coach Chris Thorman has today confirmed his squad numbers for the long-awaited return of the Betfred Championship season.

Jay Chapelhow moves to number eight and Brad Gallagher secures number 12 for this season.

Unlucky for some Connor Bailey will wear number 13 and former academy player Nathan Clemmitt moves to 19.

Gideon Boafo will take over the 20 jersey, having worn five last year and academy graduate Jake Anderson wears 22.

New signings Alex Young and Marcus Walker take over the two and three shirts respectively, with Alex Clegg returning to the Thunder scene to wear number five.
