Woolf praises professional Saints

St Helens Head Coach Kristian Woolf has praised his side’s professionalism following their 42-0 win over Wigan Warriors.

It was a much changed Wigan side, with six players making their debuts. While Saints, with no Challenge Cup match to worry about, put out a full strength team.

Woolf praised the fact Saints got the job done.

He said: “I thought we were really good, we were very professional about how we went about it.

“It’s diffcult when you turn up, and the team sheet and the team sheet is changed a little bit. It kind of takes the sting out of how you have prepared.

“I was really pleased with how we went about our business. We did a really professional job.”
