Woolf on lessons learned for Hull KR

Kristian Woolf has said his side have learned a lot about Hull KR, as they prepare to face them for the second time in three weeks.

Saints beat the Robins last time out in Warrington, but were pushed hard, particularly in the first half. Rovers also turned over Wigan last week.

He said: “We certainly learned a lot from that game. There are a number of areas we need to be better at.

“Hull KR are very good at slowing the game down, and holding the ruck down. We allowed that to become a little bit frustrating.

“If that is the case this week, I hope we handle it better. I hope we take ownership of what we do, and stop worrying about how the game is allowed to be played.

“There are plenty of things like that we can learn from.”
