The group stages for the 2025 Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup have been drawn, with holders St Helens set to host Warrington Wolves as they start their campaign to retain the trophy.
The four groups have been finalised, with each team playing two fixtures in their groups of three.
The top two from each group will then go into the pot for the quarter-final draw, with those ties to be played on 26th and 27th April.
Current Women’s Challenge Cup holders St Helens will host Warrington Wolves before travelling to Cardiff Demons for their two Group A matches.
They will be hoping to make it five Challenge Cup Final victories in a row.
2018 and 2019 winners Leeds Rhinos will face Leigh Leopards at home followed by a trip to Sheffield Eagles in Group C and will be hoping to go one better in 2025 after losing the last three finals.
Reigning WSL champions York Valkyrie hasn’t reached the final since 2021 despite winning the WSL title back-to-back.
They will travel to Huddersfield Giants before hosting the first-ever Women’s Challenge Cup winners in 2012, Featherstone Rovers in Group B.
Group D sees Wigan Warriors face Barrow Raiders and London Broncos.
The Warriors will be hoping to go at least one better in 2025, after making the semi-finals of both the Challenge Cup and the WSL play-offs in 2024.
It will be the third year that the final is held at Wembley Stadium so all twelve clubs will be aiming for a trip to London in June.
