Wolves star reveals the three teams who can stop Warrington winning the Grand Final

Warrington Wolves are leading the way at the top of the table with that age old question again resurfacing: is it their year?

On the Out of your League podcast, Wolves star Paul Vaughan was asked about their chances.

He said: “You don’t really want to come out and say you’ll win it all because that places a fair bit of pressure on you but we’ve got a great squad.

“I think potentially if we get things right and we’re firing at the back end of the season then I think anything is possible.”

He underlined that there are plenty of contenders including Catalans Dragons, Wigan Warriors and St Helens:

“There’s obviously been a couple of tough games the last few weeks against some top teams but I think we can learn a lot from that and I think we’d like to be up there at the back end of the season.

“I think Catalans are pretty tough to be fair, but Catalans, Wigan, Saints they’re all big teams.”

That said, he also noted that most teams are capable of beating anyone on their day:

“I was saying before that I think anybody on their day can really win it because I think Huddersfield were pretty tough.

“Hull KR were tough especially over there.”
