Wolves could be in the market to replace Dwyer
Dwyer was part of Warrington's 2016 Challenge Cup Final side who narrowly lost to Hull FC.
Warrington Wolves coach Tony Smith hasn’t ruled out a foray into the market to replace Leeds Rhinos-bound dummy-half Brad Dwyer.
With Morgan Smith waiting in the wings to permanently replace Dwyer, Smith has a choice whether to stick by the youngster as his second choice to Daryl Clark or bring in a more experienced operator.
Dwyer hasn’t played in the Wolves’ last three games but Smith had nothing but praise for the 24-year-old.
“Brad Dwyer goes with our blessing. He’s been a tremendous competitor for us,” Smith told the Warrington Guardian.
“We could possibly be in the market for a new hooker.
“We’ve got young Morgan Smith coming through and he’s doing really well, but we will continue looking.”
